KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KCON-ers! We’re excited to announce that Produce 101‘s very own I.O.I (Ideal of Idol) will be coming to #KCON16LA this year! With hit songs like PICK ME and CRUSH, we’re happy to have these DREAM GIRLS taking the stage at KCON!

Every week the KCON team challenges fans with deciphering hints about the new artists joining KCON via our Snapchat (@KCONUSA). This week, we came up with fun clues to reveal our latest KCON Los Angeles addition: I.O.I. Check out the Snapchat clues and explanations we used for this week below:

HINT: Caterpillar to Butterfly Transformation

We showed you a picture of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly to symbolize I.O.I’s mini album CHRYSALIS!

We’re looking forward to seeing how I.O.I will transform as artists before our eyes in the future!

HINT: “My Number” by Cheetah

We used Unpretty Rapstar Season 1 winner Cheetah’s song “My Number” because she was a  judge on the show that formed I.O.I, Produce 101.

I.O.I members can celebrate with Cheetah as they now all hold the title of Show Champions!

HINT: Tennis Racket

We showed you a picture of a tennis racket because I.O.I gracefully danced on a tennis court in their music video for the song DREAM GIRLS.

♫ “We are the dreams girls, dream girls~!”

HINT: Dalmatian Puppies

We showed you a picture of cute Dalmatian puppies to hint at the movie 101 Dalmatians which would then lead you to the show Produce 101 which I.O.I was chosen from.

Aren’t you so happy that these 11 talented ladies were “picked” and now get to perform on the KCON stage this year?!

HINT: Minions Raising Hands

We showed you a picture of minions raising their hands to elude to the song that started it all for I.O.I, PICK ME.

♫ “Pick me pick me pick me up~”
