KCON:TACT 2020 Brings KCON To Fans Worldwide

If you’ve found yourself here looking for KCON:TACT information, we would like to update you on our newest event– KCON:TACT SEASON 2 (October 16-25). Here’s what you need to know:
KCON:TACT SEASON 2 || MAIN INFORMATION
- Dates: October 16-25
- Time: October 16 -18 (5 am – 9 am PDT); Oct. 19-22 (3:30 am – 9 am PDT); Oct. 22-25 (5 am – 9 am PDT)
- Schedule of Events: Refer to the Schedule.
- Membership Tiers & Differences: We offer two tiers of membership–KCON:TACT ($19.99) and KCON:TACT PLUS ($24.99). There are two main differences. While both tiers will be able to watch all streamed content (concert, M&G, KCON Studio, etc…), KCON:TACT tier will see a livestream replay of each day’s programs while KCON:TACT PLUS will receive a VOD of each day’s programs. The second difference is that KCON:TACT PLUS will have exclusive access to FanPick Cam which allows fans to control the camera for their stream.

WHAT IS KCON:TACT?
KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER (June 20-26) is a marathon stream of live and pre-taped content and will air seven full days in a row. You can expect to see a mix of live concerts, live meet and greet sessions, behind the scenes content, artist + influencer collaboration content, and influencer panels like those that can be found in-person at KCON events.
Production will take place in Mnet’s studio in Seoul and a portion of all proceeds will go to UNESCO’s Learning Never Stops campaign to help children impacted by COVID-19 around the world to continue their education.
WHAT PROGRAMS CAN I EXPECT TO WATCH?
Programming will include live concerts, live meet and greet sessions, behind the scenes content, artist + influencer collaboration content, and influencer panels like those that can be found in-person at KCON events. The highly interactive programs will have around 30 artists and influencers who fans will be able to interact with via live video chats, live polls, and much more. The live streams will offer a highly immersive experience using the latest VR and AR technology to bring fans watching worldwide the option to be even closer to their favorite stars.
Curious about what the artists will be doing at KCON:TACT? The interactive programs are set to include over 30 K-Pop artists who fans will be able to interact with via live video chats, live polls, and much more. Among the currently announced programming there is:
1) “24hr Idol” which follows one group for an entire day in their life.
2) KCON:TACT Backstage Behind which takes you backstage with the artists
3) A four-hour concert + meet and greet event featuring four artists every day of KCON:TACT.
That means from June 20 to June 26 you’ll have four, full hours of concert + meet & greet programming each and every day–not to mention all of the other artist programs like “Backstage Behind” and “24hr Idol.”
The entire KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER stream will be broadcast exclusively via the Mnet K-Pop YouTube channel (www.youtube/mnet) with English subtitles. All interactive elements, including direct artist communication, will be available only through YouTube.
