DAVICHI is a female duo that consists of Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung. Their distinctive timbre and vocal skills make them one of the most favored female duo in Korea. DAVICHI swept ‘Best New Artist’ awards in their debut year 2008 and continued their streak by releasing chart topping songs. DAVICHI is also well known for their consecutive success in TV drama OST including KBS ‘Descendants of the Sun’, gave them the title “Queen of OST”. Their talent also spans outside DAVICHI, Kang Min-kyung being a prominent actress by starring TV dramas and Lee Hae-ri being a rising star in musical scene with her beautiful voice.

And with a burst of confetti, KCON NY 2016 has ended. We may have grown quickly into a 2-day event, but the short time we spent with you seemed to go by even faster this year. Each year, it is truly an honor to create an event with only one job in mind, to make you happy–whether it be through artist engagements, performances, panels, or even a sweet, chilly bite of a Melona bar.

We heard your voices today, KCON fans–and they were loud and super, exuberantly excited to see BTS!!!! While listening to your cheers and watching J-Hope dance to “Fire,” we learned a lot about their personal favorite songs and even which dances they think are the hardest. And, of course, wow. KCON NY Fansigning – Yim Si Wan

You may know him as Jang Geu-rae, but, after today, we know Im Shi-wan as the handsome man who can make hearts flutter with a single signature. At KCON NY, Im Shi-wan visited the tVN booth (home to some of your favorite dramas like Misaeng and Oh My Ghostess) ready to meet the fans. But, what really blew us away was his kindness and affection for each fan, determined to get every fan’s name correct and say a few, heart-piercing words in English with every signature. Touched. You may know Ailee as the woman with the voice and all that confidence. Or even the Jersey girl with luscious locks. But, today, the Ailee who lit up at the sight of her fans was the highlight.
