[#KCON17NY] Artist Announcement Hints – HIGHLIGHT
That’s right KCON-ers, HIGHLIGHT is coming to KCON17NY! AIGOOOOOOO!!! This week our Instagram hints were for TWO artist announcements. Great job to everyone who guessed the hints correctly for HIGHLIGHT! Check out all the hints and their explanations below.
HINT #1: COCA COLA BOTTLE
REASON: Junhyung is known to be a Coca Cola fanatic!
HINT #2: HAKUNA MATATA SCENE FROM THE LION KING.
REASON: In their music video Plz Don’t Be Sad, some of their props included the saying “Don’t worry be happy.” Hakuna Matata is a Swahili phrase that roughly translates “no worries.”
HINT #3: DICE
REASON: This hint was a 2 in 1! Highlight, formerly known as Beast, were previously with the company Cube Entertainment and dice are in the shape of a cube! The second hint was that the number 5 is shown which also represents the amount of members in their group.
HINT #4: CHICKEN NUGGETS
Reason: Did we trick you with this one!? This hint wasn’t about the chicken nugget itself, but rather the smiley face! In the MV for Plz Don’t Be Sad, as well as several live performances, you can see a lot of smiley faces!
HINT #5: LIGHTBULB
REASON: In their Weekly Idol appearance, Yoseob introduced himself as small lightbulb.
HINT #6: YELLOW UMBRELLA
REASON: Doojoon was in Splash Splash Love and there was a scene with a yellow umbrella!
